About Indian Trail, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Union County, North  Carolina, Indian Trail has a  population of nearly 34,000 residents. This community has seen rapid growth in  the 21st Century, and the population was below 2,000 residents as of  1990. Indian Trail was incorporated into a town in 1907 and is known  historically as the route that ran from Petersburg, VA to gold mining and the  Waxhaw Indians. Indian Trail is found within the state’s southern Piedmont  region, and much of its growth has been attributed to the community’s close  proximity to Charlotte and the transportation networks that its location  provides.

Indian Trail hosts a variety of  festivals and events throughout the year. The Fourth of July features a huge  parade that is known as one of the largest parades in the Charlotte area. In  the fall, the Indian Trail Cultural Arts Center hosts the Piedmont Cultural  Arts Festival, which features cultural dance, arts, crafts, live music, and  food. The year ends with the “It’s a Wonderful Life” Christmas parade and tree  lighting in Crossing Paths Park.

In addition to area events,  there are a few other things to do when visiting Indian Trail. The Sun Valley  14 is the area’s movie theater, and kids often enjoy having their birthday  party at Kate’s Skating  Center. The Charlotte National Golf Club is another popular destination found in Indian Trail.

Indian Trail residents need  to utilize both heating and cooling systems throughout the year. In the summer,  the weather is hot and humid, and temperatures reach the 90s an average of 45  days per year. An efficient cooling system can keep the interior of a home  comfortable while maintaining air that is free of allergens. Winters in Indian  Trail are cool, but when cold fronts arrive, homeowners are relieved to have a  heat pump or furnace available to keep them warm.
